NEW! -  Intemediate Oil Painting Class -
Wednesdays
- 10:00-1:00 - 1 space available.
Classes build on previous drwing skills and familiarity with shape, value, and color mixing.  Some classes will be paint-alongs, others will be from still life set-ups, and some will use reference photos.
My goal is for students to enjoy learning the necessary tools to paint in class or at home, with confidence and knowledge. Learning about the materials and design concepts gives one the ability to express their own unique creations of art.
Class size limited to 6.

Workshops - Contact me to teach a workshop at my studio or in your area.
You and your artistic friends will develop  skills in a fun-filled group class. One, two and three day workshops can be organized.
1. Learn how to compose your artwork using values and an understanding of the temperature of the lights and shadows families.
2. Organize your paint colors simply on the palette to create beautiful color mixtures.
3. Do you want to learn new techniques?  I also teach transparent under-paintings with alla prima layering to learn about color harmony, edges, and expressive brushstrokes. Artwork styles can be developed by using colored canvases, monochromatic value studies and palette knife or 'fracturing' edge tools!
4. Find new inspiration when you join others and discover even more creativity. Workshop minimum is 6, maximum is 10.
